I will warn people that you will be parking in one area and then riding the max for a couple of stops within fareless square, then walking a little ways to the game location.

Do we all need to park in the same area and travel together?, or just meet up there?

The game is closed for new players.

So I am assuming this means the three characters not filled, will not be among us, (ie, dis-regard any thing that would pertain to them?)

Another thing this form does do, if you are interested you can be an actor in the haunt. Which means if you are interested you can get in costume and scare people for the haunt. I know myself and some other people are interested in scarin' folk Wink.

You mean tha I can scare ordinary citizens? Mundanes? Not just the people at work ??

you don't can have to park at the same place, you could just meet us at the location, the parking place we are directing people to is free =).

and yeah, freakin' out the normies is a lot of fun, they have a real nice make-up/costume section as well.

Yes the 3 characters not chosen are not going to be at game so dis-regard any info about them, also a few of the genders have been changed for characters.

And, if I recall, parking at the venue is really expensive. I haven't been to the area in a while, so I don't know what other parking options are open on Saturday mornings.

The calendar entry says 9am - 3pm.

Does the horror start at 9?

Or is that when we need to be there to get in costume, etc?

Thanks - FogCat

sorry forgot to add some info to the last post. We are hoping to get people there as close to 9am as possible, that way people can get in costume, talk to the GM's and get everything settled. We are planning to starting game at 10am, but knowing how larps "always" start on time we'll see how it goes lol.

so try to make it to the location by 9am so we can get everything taken care of and get questions answered, mechanics gone over and other awesomeness.

This is really important for this game, due to many things that need to be gone over before game and the venue security. There is no such thing as "fashionably late". If people arrive late, there is a good chance game will have to start late... and no one wants to be the cause of that, now do you?

I am hoping to be there by 8:30, myself, just to make sure. That way I can also help sort through costume stuff with people and maybe help with makeup, if needed.

I wanted to mention this on the forum, rather than PM to the GM, to save time:

RevNecifer wrote:
Once you get off at the ***** (it's in the PM) there will be some one waiting there to take you to the game location

This is super important. There are folk who will be finding their own way to the event and may not be using the same directions as everyone else. It is important that they know that we all have to meet at the same place. Just wandering up to the venue on foot will probably get you lost and late for game. Or is it super obvious where to go if you just walk up to it? I mention this because there are several ways to get there that don't involve the Max (and thus don't involve the Max stop by the venue).

Will it be obvious where people not taking the Max should stand and wait? Will there just be one person doing the escorting, or will you have at least two, so that there will almost always be someone there to greet people and let them know they are in the right place. For new people who don't know any of our faces, maybe the escort should be holding a sign or something (like limo drivers at the airport. LOL): "SHAGLARP", or something...

Just a bunch of quick points I thought I'd better bring up here for quick answers to everyone at once.

ok, unfortunately I have come down with a case of f*$%ing dying, but here is the deal. it is sort of easy to get to if you were going through the main entrance, but we are going through the actor's entrance so it is more tricky. There will be some one waiting near the huge statue of the crown with a sign for shag folk. I must re-iterate how much we'd like people to be there by 9-9:15 latest. The person will also have a check list of people's avatars (member name) so we know who's come and who hasn't. Please let me know if this does not make sense lol.
