This is going to be a morning game. Since we are using Fright Town on a day when the haunt is performing normal operations we need to be done early. We are asking for people to arrive between 9 and 9:30 am, so we can begin play at 10am, and end game before 3pm.

New to group. I just RSVPed. As a "newbie" do I choose a character or am I just a generic PC? Due to age and other factors - if I can choose a character I'd like to be "Baba Kalderesh- An older woman, you weren't in the best of health before being captured by the Nazis, and now you don't expect to long survive even if you do escape. So long as you can get the other gypsies out alive you'll be content. "

I have costuming for a gypsy and carry a mean wooden (period looking) cane.

Typically after you RSVP you can pm us your character request. So you can choose a character from the list that has not been chosen by some one already.

As far as age goes it's pretty flexible. It is easier and nicer to have younger people play younger roles and older people play older roles. But to be honest. If you can pretend you are in Nazi-Occupied Poland and strange eldritch occult stuff is going on. You should be able to pretend some one's age lol. any other questions fee free to PM myself or Demihappycow or just post your questions on this forum subject!

So if you have signed up for this game and it is going to be your first larp experience please send me a PM. No it is not a problem that you are new to larp or anything silly. I just want to get an idea of how many new people are going to be in the game Very Happy

Also, another general reminder to let people know to check our character list post often. Since when you edit a post it doesn't mark it as new. That way you know what characters are left, who you might be close to etc.

Whoa whoa whoa, somehow I got listed on the page one character reservation list as wanting to play Baba Kalderesh. I'm guessing this is a bugaboo, as that's what FogCat wanted to play, not me.

I want to be Viacheslav Spivak. I'll see what I can do about clothing, but in the event that business prevents me from hitting Goodwill, will the LARP event be able to provide me with some duds?

I'm sorry! I got my avatars crossed! I will rectify that at once! We try to have costume pieces as well as make-up stations available at game for people to assist with getting you into character. So if you aren't able to get the costume complete we can fill in the gaps. the sooner you know you need help with costuming the sooner we can get something together. A lot of us on the site have various costume pieces and we really try to help one another out!

Ok, as an update these are the pre-generated characters that are left:

These three characters have been written as gender neutral and can be played easily by a guy or girl. All that is needed to change is the name to a female equivalent.

Noam Kessler
Jan Sobczak
Andriy Olafsen

These characters are gender specific and need to be played by male players.
Iskandar Ozenbas
Joshua Lang

If none of these characters are something you want to play PM us with an idea of what you'd like to play and we'll see if we can make it work. Typically at this point if you want a new character idea that is not on the list you will be either a Jew, Gypsy or "other" as we will not be adding any more military personnel.
